Danny Ray AVERY Covington Cemetery
The funeral for Danny Ray Avery, 34, who died Sunday in an Abbeville, Louisiana hospital, after an apparent heart attack, will be at 11 AM Wednesday in the First Baptist Church at Covington. The Rev. David Critchfield and Archie Klusmeyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Covington Cemetery under direction of Brown Funeral Home.
Avery was born July 6, 1951, at Covington to Fred and Geraldine Avery. He attended Covington – Douglas school and for nine years worked for Farley Construction. The past two years, he was construction superintendent for Enstar Engineering at Abbeville.
Avery was a baptized member of the First Baptist Church at Covington.
Survivors include his wife, Adrienne; a son, Danny Avery Jr., three daughters, Racheal, Amber and Ashley Avery, to step – sons, Leon Avery and Dean Avery, and a step – daughter, LeAnne Avery, all of the home; his parents, Fred and Geraldine Avery, Covington; four brothers, Freddie Avery, Hempstead, Texas, Billy, Tommy and Johnny Avery, all of Covington; two sisters, Carolyn Morris, Perry, and Judy Griffin, Covington.
