Bobby Dwayne Avery, age 87, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away August 13, 2021 in Perry, Oklahoma.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 24th at 10 AM at the Covington Cemetery with Brian Friend officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N 7th St, Perry, OK 73077.
Bobby was born on June 28, 1934 in Lucien, Oklahoma to Joseph and Cecile Avery. He worked as an aircraft tooler for 30 years and retired from Lockheed Martin Corp. Bobby also remodeled over 16 houses in the Perry community. Bobby enjoyed helping others and loved his wife, Ruth, more than anything. They were happily married for over 64 years. Bobby proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include: wife of 64 years, Ruth Avery, of Perry, OK; two sons, Bobby D. Avery II and Shannon E. Avery; and grandsons, Jadin Joseph Avery and Chase Asher Avery.
Preceding in death were his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
