Eufaula – The funeral for James H. Andrews, 67, Eufaula, will be at 10 AM today in the Eufaula First Christian Church. Tim Veazey will officiate.
Graveside services will be at 2 PM Tuesday in the Covington – Douglas Cemetery in Covington, under the direction of the Merritt Funeral Service, Eufaula.
Andrews, a former resident of Covington, died Friday in the Eufaula Community Hospital. He was born December 27, 1923, in Covington. He married Bonnie Rose Rader in Enid, on February 26, 1949.
He retired from the Chaplin Refining Company on April 1, 1979, then moved to Eufaula and worked for Rural Water District Mo. 8 for nine years.
Andrew was on the board of directors of the Texanna – Quinton Library, a member of the Oil Workers Union and a Deacon of the Eufaula First Christian Church. He was a veteran of World War I I, and belonged to the Eufaula Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8798.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Mike, Bethany; a daughter, Kelly Craig, Enid; a brother, Florian, Galisburg, Kansas; two sisters, Doris Rudd, Marshall and Marie Dawson, Wichita, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mae Husband, and a sister, Mabel Dullavey. Memorials may be made to the church.
