OKLAHOMA CITY - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather left this life to meet his Lord on Saturday.

Burnard "Duane" Albright was born to Burnard "Bernie" & Anna Albright in Hammon, OK. He graduated from Enid High School in 1942 and shortly after, joined the Army Air Force. He served from 1943 to 1946.

After his service, Duane attended Phillips University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree (physics/math).

After graduation in May 1950, his family moved to OKC, where he began his 30-year career at the FAA as an electronics engineer.

Duane was a dedicated, born-again Christian and a charter member of Mayridge Baptist Church. He served faithfully for many years.

He was predeceased by his father and mother; stepmother, Eva; and stepbrother, Kenneth Foreman.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joann; two daughters, Sharon Teague (husband Dennis) and Shirly Young (husband Ron), all of OKC; four grandchildren, Janis Haupt (husband Rob), of Middletown, Maryland; Greg Teague, of OKC; Kara Ross (husband David), of OKC; and Kelli Matherly (husband Brad), of OKC; seven great-grandchildren, Zachary Teague, Ayden Matherly, Kaid Ross, Brilyn Ross, Tyler Haupt, Zoie Matherly, and Madison Haupt; and many other relatives and friends.

Duane will be greatly missed by those who knew him. "Well done thou good and faithful servant."

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mayridge Baptist Church, 4617 S May in Oklahoma City, OK 75119.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, at Mayridge Baptist Church with 2 p.m. committal at the Covington Cemetery in Covington, OK.
