Christina Lena Rink
March 20, 1934 - October 31, 2022
Funeral services for Christina Rink, 88 of Douglas, will be Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm in St. John's Lutheran Church, Covington, with Pastor Kenneth Wade and Barry Henke officiating. Burial will follow in Covington Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, Enid.
Christina was born on March 20, 1934 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Christ and Louise (Kaiser) Bohn and died on October 31, 2022 in Oklahoma City with her sons by her side.
She grew up in Orlando, Oklahoma and graduated from Orlando High School in 1952. In 1959, Christina married William Rink and they lived in Stillwater and Covington before making their home on the family farm near Douglas in 1966. They raised sheep. Christina was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 40 years. She wrote for the Covington News and later the Perry Daily Journal.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, and son, Chris.
Christina is survived by her sons, Larry and wife, Marilyn Rink and Randy Rink; grandchildren, Evan (Ally) Rink, Christian (Jeremy) Dry, Kayce (Edmond) David, Kris (Stacy) Krout, Kara (Daniel) Milacek; great grandchildren, Donnie, Tsali, Mckayla, Makenzie, Mariah, Malachi, Kynly, Kaes, Kole, Kreed, Ava, Broox, Brogan; other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to St. John's Lutheran Church.
