October 29, 1943 - September 27, 2024

A Celebration of Life Service for Linda Alice Goddard, age 80, of Edmond, will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Linda was born October 29, 1943 in Covington to Albert and Lois Powell, and passed away Friday, September 27th, 2024. She attended Covington High School. Linda married the love of her life, Joe Neil in 1962. She retired from Beasley Media Group as a business manager. Linda also managed the accounts for Presbyterian Church in Edmond. As of lately, she managed the accounts of Goddard Enterprises. Linda enjoyed spending time with her childhood best friend, Sharon Fugate. She had a great talent for gardening, particularly for her love of her flowers. Linda also had a great love for her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. One of her highlights were the family gatherings she hosted at her house, those times were full of love, laughter, and her cherry cobblers.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Goddard; brother, Wayne Powell; brother-in-law Dwayne Goddard; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene, and Price Brazell; her brother-in-law, Dale Thompson; and her parents, Albert and Lois Powell. She is survived by her two sons, Joseph Goddard and wife Dawna, of St. George, Utah; James Andrew Goddard, wife Evangeline, of Edmond, OK; sister Nancy Thompson; her grandchildren, Tyler Goddard, Kayla and Mike Bowden, Cody and Courtney Goddard, Tanner Goddard, and Taylor Goddard; nine great grandchildren, Kayden, Noah, Maston, Carter, Hailey, Kinsley, Remi, Ryder, and Dalton; extended great grandchildren Nakissa and Kolby.

Memorial contributions in Linda's name may be made to Furever Friends, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
