October 23, 1959 - June 11, 2021

A memorial service for Frank E. Powell will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Pastor Bill Smith officiating. A celebration of life will follow at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center Pavilion in Enid. The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8 to greet friends. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Frank Powell was born on October 23, 1959, to John and Verna (Stanley) Powell. He passed away on June 11, 2021. He leaves behind his wife, of 37 years, Janel (Fuksa), son Barrett John, and daughter Ryli Ann.

Frank grew up hauling hay and raising pigs on the family farm, southeast of Helena, alongside his brothers, John and Vernon. His interest in the hog industry continued throughout his lifetime. He was often the go-to man if you needed to buy, sell or just get advice.

Frank loved going to livestock shows to watch not only his children but numerous nieces, nephews and friends compete for the blue ribbon. He relished in the stories told around the ring and often told a few of his own.

He was a man who always had a habit of seeing things for exactly what they were, never straying far from what he believed was right or wrong. While his thoughts and actions might have seemed blunt at times, his firm beliefs were reflected in actions, where he never missed an opportunity to help others, regardless of the situation. He will be missed by many.

Memorials can be made to the Frank Powell Memorial Scholarship Fund or a charity of your choice.

Condolences can be made and viewing of services online at ladusauevans.com.
