The Mass of Christian Burial for R.A. "Skeeter" Traynor will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph Irwin officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home.

Our dear dad and grandpa left us on Monday, May 21, 2018. Preceding him was his wife, Evelyn who passed away Monday, July 21, 2014; brother, Gene Traynor; sister, Maredda Traynor Nelson; and parents, Ed and Mary Traynor. He is survived by his children, Linda and Randy Fuller of Enid; Dennis Traynor of Waukomis. Skeeter's grandkids of whom he was so proud of are Justin and Lauren Traynor, Stephen Fuller of OKC, Allison and Cody Daniels of Edmond and Dr. Megan Traynor of Rochester, MN; one brother, George Traynor and wife, Jody of Enid; brother-in-law, Tom Nelson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Skeeter was born January 7, 1930 in Enid and graduated Waukomis High School and attended Texas A&M University. Skeeter worked two years for Oklahoma Natural Gas until he enlisted in the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge, he returned to ONG until he retired in 1985 as a senior right-of-way agent. Skeeter was a member of the Grand National Quail Club, Knights of Columbus, American Right-of-Way Association, American Legion and NRA. On October 7, 1956 Skeeter married Evelyn Fuxa and the couple enjoyed many years traveling in their RV to Colorado, Texas and Branson, MO. Dad was one-of-a-kind. He never knew a stranger. He gave of himself to his friends and neighbors whenever it was needed. He was always a hard worker and had a sense of humor, which he instilled in his kids. Dad will be waiting for us all in Heaven with a Keystone beer in hand.

Memorials may be made to the Center of Family Love, Okarche, OK or Our Daily Bread with Henninger~Hinson acting as custodian of the funds.
