The memorial service for Herman “Rick” Kurz, 63 year-old Enid resident will be 3 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2007, in Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Kevin Ratterman will officiate. Burial of his cremains will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
He was born October 19, 1943, in Enid, to H.R. Kurz and Marie Louise Jarolim Kurz, and died Friday, June 15, 2007, in St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School and graduated from Memorial High School in 1961.
He is survived by his long-time companion, A.J. Petree, of the home; two brothers, George A. Kurz and wife JoAnn of Woodward, OK. and Sam Kurz of New Orleans, LA. Also a sister-in-law, Donna Kurz of Tulsa. One nephew, Patrick Kurz and two nieces, Jan Byerly and Abbi Crain.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tim Kurz.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
