Funeral Mass for Miss Frances B. Jordan, who died Wed. in Miami, FL will be at 9 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Marvin F. Leven officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Miss Jordan was born in Osage Co. MO and as a small child she came to a claim her father staked at the opening of the Cherokee Strip, two miles southeast of Carrier.
She attended the Northwest Academy at Carrier and graduated from St. Joseph School in Enid in 1907. She was active in sports as a young girl and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the Church Alter Society.
Miss Jordan moved to Wichita, Kan. in 1942 and maintained her home there until two years ago when she went to live with her niece, Mrs. Martha Michelle in Miami, FL because of health problems.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by one brother, Hugh Jordan of Enid; one sister, Mrs. C. J. ( Nell ) Freipont, of San Antonio, TX; several nieces and nephews, including H. B. and Jack Hutchison, Wichita, KS and Bob Jordan of Enid.
