William Herbert KENNEDY

Calvary Catholic Cemetery



Mass of Christian Burial for William Herbert Kennedy was held at Holy Family Cathedral at 1 p.m., Friday June 22, 2007. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery in Enid.

Mr. Kennedy peacefully returned to God at the age of 102, at his home in Tulsa on June 19, 2007. He was born to Sarah (Dempsey) and William H. Kennedy on May 11, 1905, in Enid.

He and Hazel Banfield were married on June 3, 1931, in Enid and she preceded him in death March 28, 2006.

He is survived by their children David, Sam and Christie Kennedy; 3 daughters-in-laws, Mimi Richeson, Kay Kennedy and Joe Ann Kennedy; 6 grandchildren and spouses and 9 great grandchildren.
