DETTLE - Mrs. Mary Ellen Dettle, 60 years old, passed away Tuesday night in a city hospital after an illness of three weeks. She came to Oklahoma with her parents a year after the opening of the Cherokee Strip and made her home at Goltry until she came to Enid 22 years ago and has since lived at 1115 West Broadway.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier church and the Altar guild. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Catherine Dettle of Enid; one son, Alfred of Carrier, and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Krier and Mrs. Joseph Zrust, both of Goltry, and three grandchildren.
The body will be taken to the family home this afternoon at 4 o'clock and will lie in state until the services Friday morning at 9 o'clock in the St. Francis church. Dean H. Schaubroeck officiating. Burial will be made in Calvery cemetery beside her husband who died in 1922.
Henninger Funeral Home is in charge of the services.
