The funeral for Billy "Bill" J.D. Anderson, 90 year-old former Enid resident is 2PM Monday, December 5, 2022 in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel.
Bill was born to Robert "Bill" and Lena (Gilley) Anderson on May 4, 1932 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and died Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
Bill joined the Marines after High School. He served in the Korean War. After the war he was a Policeman and Police Sergeant in Enid, Oklahoma for 21 years. He also worked as a jailor in the Garfield County Jail. Bill enjoyed working in his yard and cutting wood.
He is survived by his wife Sue (Morgan) Anderson of Jasper, AR.; his sons, Sequayah Anderson (LaTeresa) of OKC., Robert Anderson(Kelly) of Wagoner, OK., Jami Kilmer of McKinney, TX. and William Kilmer (Stephanie) of Helena, OK.; and Quannah Harris of Lahoma, OK. 9 grandchildren; John, Shelby, Ian, Cole, Heather, Asia, Trey, Miranda, and Megan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Lenna Anderson, and his grandsons, Jeffery Anderson and Liam Kilmer.
