Recent Deaths
The funeral for Della E. Palmer, 79 of Breckinridge will be 10.00 a.m., Friday, April 17, 1998 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Breckinridge with Rev. Richard Docekal officiating. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. She was born July 10, 1918 three miles north of Breckinridge n the family farm to Reinhardt and Ella Shossow Roggow and died Monday, April 13, 1998.

She attended school at Immanuel Lutheran School in Breckinridge. She married Arthur L. Palmer on March 18, 1944 in Enid. They made their home in Enid, Texas, and Louisiana while her husband was in the Air Force. After Arthur's retirement, they resided in Breckinridge. Arthur preceded her in death.

She was an active volunteer in the Breckinridge Community Center Aid Association for Lutherans, and served her Lord in the Immanuel Lutheran Church. She presided as VFW Post 2270 Auxiliary president 16 years and State VFW Auxiliary president for one year.

She is survived by two daughters: Joyce G. Clover and husband of Jefferson, Drucilla Lutkehus and husband Edward of Chappell, NE; and one son, Arthur, Jr. and wife, Laura of Memphis, TX; three sisters: Hillda Roggow, Minnie Wilgus, and Bernice McCanless all of Enid; five brothers: Herman and Ervin of Enid, Victor and Wallace of Breckinridge, and Gerald of Bancroft, NE; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and a sister.
