Obituary - GEORGE MOHLENBRINK, BRECKINRIDGE, OK
Services for George Mohlenbrink, 81, who died suddenly early Thursday in an Enid hopital after suffering a heart attack Wednesday evening, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Pastor Carlton Kjergaard will officiate at the funeral in the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Breckinridge. He will be buried in the Lutheran Cemetery at Breckinridge, with the Anderson Funeral Home of Garber in charge of arrangements.
Mohlenbrink was born Sept. 5, 1893, in Marshall County, Kan. He came to Oklahoma with his parents in 1896, the family settling northeast of Breckinridge. During World War I he served as an ambulance driver and later withe the demolition group in France.
After his discharge in 1919, he returned to Breckinridge where he did farm work. He moved to Breckinridge when he retired in 1950. A brother Herman died in September, 1971.
He is survived by a sister, Anna Mohlenbrink of the home and several nieces and nephew.
