Charlie W. Kroll, 90, 2424 N. Jefferson died early Tuesday morning in his home following a long illness.

Kroll was born Nov. 4, 1884 in Newton, Kans. and came to Oklahoma at an early age. The family settled on a farm between Kingfisher and Okarche. He and Miss Minnie Kroll were married April 1, 1930 in Oklahoma City. They moved to Garber, then to the Breckinridge area where he farmed until retiring in 1952.

He has lived in Enid since that time. Kroll was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Breckinridge. In addition to his wife Minnie of the home, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Dorothy) Kelly of Enid; and a brother Henry of El Reno. A brother, sister and a granddaughter prededeased him.

Funeral rites will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Immanuel Lutheran Church t Breckinridge with Rev. Carlton F. Kjergaard officiating. Burial will be in the the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Breckinridge under the direction of Henning-Allen Funeral Home.

Lunch will be served at 12 noon at the church.
