Bison Cemetery


A Mass of Christian Burial for Theodore Daniel Vculek, 70, of Enid, will be Tuesday, September 21, 1999 at 10 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. James Mickus officiating. Burial will be in Bison Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

He passed from this life on September 18, 1999, following a brief illness.

He was born July 21, 1929, in Bison to the late Emil and Mary (Fuska) Vculek. He attended Bison Catholic School and was employed by the Enid Foundry, Robertson Steel in Oklahoma City, and Central Machine and Tool in Enid prior to his retirement in December 1994.

Theodore and Velma (Williams) Vculek were united in marriage on January 23, 1951, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church by a Father Kroll. They established a home in Enid.

He is survived by his loving wife, Velma, of the home; two daughters and two sons – in – law: Pattie and Frank Adams of Lahoma, Renea and Troy McKain of Ponca City; and one son and daughter – in – law: Greg and Bonnie Vculek of Waukomis; eight grandchildren: Marine Sgt. Michael Adams of Camp Pendleton, California, Kerri Chilton and her husband Shane of Minco, Jeff Adams and Jacob Wedel of Lahoma, Teddie Vculek of Enid, Aimee Vculek of Waukomis; Kayla and Mary Beth McKain of Ponca City; two sisters and brothers – in – law: Marie and Bill Shelton of Duncun, Debbie and Ron Van Weldon of Enid; one brother and sister – in – law: Stanley and Connie Vculek of Yukon; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Regina Lewis and Margie Vculek of Enid.

Memorials may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Brown Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
