November 15, 1952 - June 9, 2020

Mass of Christian Burial for Charlene Skinner, 67 of Norman will be Friday, June 12, 2020, at 2:30 pm in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Enid, with Reverend John Herrera officiating. Burial will follow in Bison Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Charlene was born on November 15, 1952, in Enid, Oklahoma to Charles Raymond and Marcella Mack Schovanec and died on June 9, 2020, in Norman, Oklahoma.

She grew up on the family farm west of Hunter. She graduated from Hunter High School and attended OT Autry VO-Tech. Charlene worked as a dental assistant in Enid for 30 years. On August 11, 1995, she married Joe Skinner in Enid. Charlene worked as a CMA at Bass Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, watching her grandchildren, cooking and traveling with Joe in their RV.

Charlene was preceded in death by her father, Charles R. Schovanec.

She is survived by her husband, Joe of the home; children, Nate Skinner, Angela Pettus, Scott Fuksa, Cory Fuksa and Jarrad Poslick; 15 grandchildren; mother, Marcella Schovanec; brothers, Terry (Sandra), Steve (Gail), and Bill Schovanec; sister, Deborah Schovanec; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to OMRF-Heart Division. Condolences may be made online at www.andersonburris.com.
