Bison Cemetery


May 21, 1950 - January 8, 2002

Mass of Christian burial for Michael Joseph Rothermel, 51, will be 11 AM Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Earnest A. Flusche will officiate. Burial will follow in Bison Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

He was born May 21, 1950, in Enid to Sherman and Margeret Jirik Rothermel and died Tuesday, January 8, 2002, at Integris Health Baptist Medical Ctr., Oklahoma City after a lengthy illness due to cancer.

He attended St. Joseph Catholic elementary school, Enid Memorial high school and graduated from Enid high school. He worked for William – Sonoma in Oklahoma City.

Surviving are his mother, Margeret of Oklahoma City; one sister, Regina Trotter of Columbia, South Carolina; five brothers, Charles, Joe, Steve and Richard, all of Oklahoma City, and John of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Contributions may be made through the funeral home to Our Daily Bread.
