Prayer Vigil for Jerry Robert Osland, 39 wasat 7:00 p.m. Thursday April 19, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bison. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 a.m. Friday April 20, 2018 at St. Joseph’s in Bison officiated by Rev. Ed Menasco. Burial followed at Bison Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Jerry was born in Enid on April 29, 1978 to Walter and Jan Hixon Osland and died Tuesday April 18, 2018 at his home in Marshall. Jerry was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bison. He attended O. T. Autry Vo-Tech where he earned his certification as a Diesel mechanic. Jerry married Joni Kruse in Miami, Oklahoma on May 27, 2017.
He is survived by his wife Joni of the home, one daughter Alice Lee Osland; his parents Walter and Jan Osland of Bison; three brothers Terry Osland and wife Tinna of Bison, Larry Osland and wife Ella of Yukon, Barry Osland and wife Ashley of Bison; three nephews Delane Osland, Alex Osland, Weston Osland, two nieces Kaylee Osland and Oaklee Osland.
Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alice Lee Osland Scholarship Fund with the funeral home serving as custodian.
