Bison Cemetery


Leo E. Markes Died Tuesday -- Had Been Ill But Few Days

Leo E. Markes, aged 35, a resident of the Bison community, died Tuesday afternoon at an Enid hospital, following an operation for appendicitis.

He is survived by his widow, Frances Marx and son, Vincent; mother, Mrs. Anna Markes, of Bison; two sisters, Miss Ruby Markes, of Bison; and Mrs. Della Peters, of Enid, and five brothers, Louis of Marshall, and Clarence, Leonard, Earl and Roy Markes, of Bison.

Funeral services were held this morning from St. Joseph's church at Bison. Interment in the Cemetery at that place.
