Mrs. Anna Markes, a resident of the Bison community for more than a half century, passed away Friday night at an Enid hospital at the age of 74.

Funeral services were held at 8 a.m. at St. Joseph's church Monday morning with interment in the Bison Cemetery.

She is survived by five sons and two daughters: L. J. , Clarence and Roy Markes, of Bison; Earl , of Enid, Leonard , of Waukomis, and Mrs. Stella Moeckman, of Okeene, and Ruby Markes of the home.

Her husband and one son had preceded her in death.
