April 6, 1932 ~ February 3, 2003


ENID, Oklahoma - Dallas L. Ellison, 70, Enid, Okla., died Monday, February 3, 2003, at St Mary's Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 6, 1932, in Neodesha, KS Wilson County, the son of Ralph and Zora Pruitt Ellison.

He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked at Martin's Body Shop, Enid, as a master paint and body repairman for 35 years, retiring in 1986.

On Jan.uary 4, 1953, he married Alice Cramer in Pratt. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Kim Rogers, Spring Hill, Tenn., and Brenda Baker, Enid, Okla.; a son, Ralph Ellison, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Genny Phillips, Chanute, and Sharon Thompson, Duncan, Okla.; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 6, at Bethany Cemetery in Enid, Okla., led by the Rev Verlyn Snell.
