Dan Schick

January 6, 1906 ~ February 1, 1964

Funeral services for Dan Schick were held both in Woodward and in Shattuck Tuesday, February 4, 1964 with burial in Shattuck cemetery under direction of Stecher Mortuary. George Reid and J. L. Bowers of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiated.

Dan D. Schick was born January 6, 1906 in Marion County Kansas and died late Saturday, February 1, 1964 in an Oklahoma City hospital following surgery.

The family moved in 1912 to a farm west of Shattuck.

On March 29, 1929 , he married Ruth Link. He had been living in Woodward since 1957. They were members
of the Seventh Day Adventist church.

He is survived by a son, Joe Dan of Shattuck; a daughter Mrs. Tony Hernandez of Fargo; his stepmother, Mrs.
Lottie Schick of Shattuck; a brother, two sisters; a half-brother, two half-sisters and nine grandchildren.
