Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 @ 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church at Shattuck, OKlahoma. Burial will follow at the Shattuck Memorial Cemetery.

George son of Orval and Sadie (Cool) Mann was born April 25, 1938, and passed from this life September 26, 2015 at the age 77. He attended Shattuck School until 1956 when he went to the Air Force.
On November 2, 1957 he married Cleta Wells in San Antonio, Texas. Where they resided until George was discharged from the Air Force. To this union two children were born, Robert and Georgia. George and Cleta enjoyed fishing, dancing, stock car racing and driving dune buggies. George worked for Diamond Construction, State Highway Department, and nine and half years at Fruit of The Loom Factory until it closed. George then went to work for Ellis County at Gage until he retired. After retiring he worked on lawn mowers and small engines.
George was preceded in death by his parents Orval and Sadie, his wife Cleta, one brother Russel, and one great-granddaughter.
George is survived by son Robert Mann and wife Kim of Odessa, Texas; daughter Georgia Erickson and husband Duane of Woodward, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Franklin Keeton and wife Amanda, Cody Keeton and wife Amanda all from Vici, Oklahoma, Kyle Keeton and wife Carrie of Laverne, Oklahoma, Monica, Kathy, Bobby, and Dewayne; several great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; other family and a host of friends.
