Shattuck – The funeral for Harriett Frances Hubbard, 85, will be 4 PM Saturday at First Christian Church. Gordon Burton and Terry Logan will officiate. Burial will be in Shattuck Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan Funeral Service.
She was born May 3, 1914, at Shattuck to Fred and Birdie Smith Johnson and died Thursday, June 24, 1999 at Vici Nursing Home.
She attended Ohio Country School, later attending high school at Shattuck. On November 6, 1929, she married Joe Hollis Hubbard at Shattuck and they lived in various places while he worked for the railroad. In 1949, they made their home in Shattuck where she was a sales representative for Stanley Home Products. She was a member of First Christian Church of Shattuck where she taught Sunday school for many years.
Surviving are three daughters, JoAnn Kella of Shattuck, Gloria Schuffield of Oklahoma City and Terry Hubbard of Atlanta; five grandchildren; and six great – grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and two sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cookson Hills Children's Home or to First Christian Church of Shattuck.
