October 9, 1957 ~ September 29, 2019

Kenneth Hegdahl, 61 year old Woodward resident died Sunday, September 29, 2019 in Woodward. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 3, 2019 in the Shattuck Cemetery with Reverend Jason Dirks officiating. Interment will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth Lee Hegdahl was born on October 9, 1957 in Haysville, Kansas, the son of Arnold Ole and Charlotte Ann (Tubb) Hegdahl. Kenneth was reared in Shattuck and Woodward, where he also attended school graduating from Woodward High School in 1976. Kenneth worked for the City of Woodward in the sanitation department from 1978 retiring in 2010.

He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed taking trips to Montana to visit family. He also enjoyed watching football, and spending time with his family.

Kenneth is survived by two sisters, Donna Brosius and husband Mike of Protection, Kansas; Anita Shuman of Woodward; two brothers, Charles C. Hegdahl of Woodward; and Jimmy D. Hegdahl of Liberal, Kansas; several nieces; nephews; other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two nephews, James Michael Simpson-Castillo; and Bobby Joe Haight.
