JACOB JAMES MEININGER

21 Jan 1992 - 15 May 2017

Jacob James Meininger was born in Shattuck Newman Memorial Hospital on the 21st of January 1992 to Sandra Kaye (Sober) Meininger and John Arthur Meininger.  He left on the next leg of his journey on the 15th of May 2017 at Alliance Health Care in Woodward.

Jacob was the only son of his mother, and the second son of his father.

Jacob went to school and grew to adulthood in Gage, OK.  It was there that he made many lifelong friends.

Jacob enjoyed frisbee, skateboarding, bicycles, basketball, most any music, beating Logan at pool, swimming at the Gage Artesian beach, and hanging out with friends and family.  He would help anybody with anything, if they asked.  Jacob also enjoyed spending time with his closest cousins, Kendon and Jalen Gaines.  They were more like brothers to him.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Sidna (Layton) Sober and Everett Sober, and Peggy Ann (Wentz) Meininger and James Leon Meininger; sister Sarah Smith; and four uncles, Johnny Paul and Everett Lee Sober, Jack Hugh Meininger, and Kenny Jacoby.

Jacob is survived by his parents; two sisters Nikki Marie Smith of Woodward, OK and Jessica Lynn Dimmitt of Gage, OK; half-brother Shane John Meininger of KS; numerous uncles and aunts: Jimmy Clyde Sober and wife Linda, of Miami, TX, Jan Sober of Laverne, OK, Pat Jacoby of Gage, OK, Paula Scott and husband Bobby of Arnett, OK, Jimmy Leon Meininger of Seiling, OK, Carrie Ann Johnson of Gage, OK, Harold Johnson, Jr. of Gage, and Tricia Johnson of Woodward, OK.  He is also survived by three special nieces, Cloe and Asia Cosgrove and Mackenzie Kaye Short, and these girls were very important to Jacob.  He also leaves behind many close cousins and other relatives, along with an overabundance of lifelong friends.
