Cynthia “Cindy” Lee (Ratzloff) Hunter, 63 year old Harmon resident passed from this life in Houston, TX on September 19, 2017. She was born on February 15, 1954 to Virgil and Rose Mary (Franzen) Ratzloff in Jackson, MI. Cindy attended Jackson, MI, Gruver, TX, and Spearman, TX Elementary Schools. Then she attended Shattuck and Arnett High Schools and graduated from Arnett with the class of 1973.
On August 23, 1971 Cindy married Jerry Hunter at the Harmon Nazarene Church. They were blessed with a daughter Tammy and a son Kelly. The family lived on a farm near Harmon. She was baptized and a member of the Harmon Nazarene Church. Cindy worked at the Arnett Schools for many years then retired and worked her beloved dog business. She loved to raise her puppies.
Cindy enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardens. She wanted her yard and flowers looking pretty all the time. Cindy was known for her famous hamburgers at Fuller Ball Park for 13 years. She was an avid basketball supporter and enjoyed playing it herself until the age of 42. Cindy’s true passion was watching her grandkids play sports and rodeo. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Rose Mary Ratzloff; and one brother David Ratzloff.
Cherishing the memories are her husband Jerry Hunter of the home; two children; daughter Tammy Hunter and special friend Justin McCoy of Harmon, OK and grandchildren Hunter Munsell, Taylor Munsell, and Lindy Munsell; son Kelly Hunter and wife Brandy of Mutual, OK, and grandchildren Jaide Hunter, Jaron Hunter, and Jacob Hunter; two brothers Timmy Ratzloff and wife Kathy of Woodward, OK and Danny Ratzloff and wife Martha of Lakewood, CO; one sister Penny Keller and husband Robert of Arnett, OK; two aunts; six nieces; four nephews; and a host other family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Harmon Cemetery.
