Funeral service for Shelva Dalrymple, 81 of Enid, will be 10:00 AM, Monday, October 22, 2018 in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Melvin Boedecker and Elder Danny Moss officiating. Burial will be in Harmon Cemetery at 2:30 PM. Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangement by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Shelva was born March 28, 1937 in Vici, OK to Volney and Altha (Smith) Turner and passed away on October 18, 2018 in Enid.
Shelva grew up in Vici. She married Daniel Dalrymple in 1953 and they made their home in Harmon. They moved to Enid in 1960. Shelva was a homemaker. She enjoyed macramé and she loved reading and her cats.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Larry; great-grandson, Bryce Crow; both of her parents; sister, Shirley Rieger; and two brothers, Terry and Victor Turner.
She is survived by her six children, Alan (Sherry) Dalrymple, Barton (Patricia) Dalrymple, Daniel Dalrymple (Sherry Estes), Lisa (Ron) Benshoof, Lori (Terry) Kilpatrick, and Shannon Dalrymple; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and her sister, Twila Maddox.
