Loqueta Thurlene (Bemis) Rankin

May 1, 1937 ~ September 3, 1985

Shattuck - Loqueta Thurlene Rankin, 48, died Tuesday, September 3, 1985. Services will be 10 AM Friday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Marvin Garrison officiating. Burial will be at the Gage Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Good Samaritan Funeral Service.

Rankin was born May 1, 1937, in Beaver to Thurman and Helen Bemis. She grew up in the Cestos community in Dewey County. She graduated from Richmond high school in 1956. She lived in Laverne and Follett, Texas, and moved to Shattuck in 1971.

On May 22, 1972, she married Charles Rankin.

She was a member of the First Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband; two half brothers, Jim Roy, Vici and Bobbie Bemis, Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri; and a half sister, Barbara Brooks, Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.
