JULIO O. "PEGGY" MEYER

16 Oct 1912 - 1 Apr 1997

WOODWARD - The funeral for Julia O. "Peggy" Meyer, 84, will be at 10 a.m. today at Elm Street Baptist Church. The Rev. Lloyd Stovall will officiate. Burial will be in the Gage Memorial Cemetery under direction of Good Samaritan Funeral Service.

She was born Oct. 16, 1912 in Corley, Ark., to Edward and Maggie Rosier Sugg and died Tuesday, April 1, 1997, at the Vici Nursing Home. She grew up in Corley.

In 1937, she married Earl Dill at El Paso, Texas. They lived in Shattuck and later at Gage. He died in 1962.

She continued to live in Shattuck until May 9, 1969, when she married Elmer A. Meyer. They lived in Mooreland, moving to Woodward in 1987 and to Vici in 1996. She was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church at Woodward.

Surviving are her husban, Elmer; one daughter, Carla Benson of Oklahoma City; one son, Earl of Idaho Falls, Idaho; one brother Elbert Sugg of Fresno Calif.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
