Walter Merritt Auld

September 21, 1915 ~ September 01, 1983

Fargo – Services for Walter Merritt Auld, 67, will be Saturday at 10 AM in the Liberty Baptist Church in Fargo. The Rev. B. W. Goodson and the Rev. Chester Johnson will officiate at the rites.

Burial will be in the Gage Memorial Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of the Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Shattuck.

Auld was born September 21, 1915, in Harmon, the son of a Elmer and Pearl Auld, and died Thursday while at work.

He grew up in the Liberty community and attended Fargo schools graduating from Fargo high school in 1932.

Auld served with the United States Army during World War I I. He and Patsy Rinner were married September 19, 1963. Auld was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

He was employed by the Ellis County District No. 1.

Auld's only survivor is his wife, Patsy, of the home.

Memorials may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund, either direct or through the funeral home.
