Annalee (Barnett) Wauhob went peacefully to her heavenly home on May 18, at the age of 97.
Annalee Barnett was born on a farm northeast of Woodward on January 21, 1923 to Purl W. and Gladys (Ernst) Barnett. She attended Woodward schools, graduating from Woodward High School in 1941. Annalee then married Arthur Taylor with whom a daughter, Judith Ann was born. In 1947, after making it through the Woodward tornado, she married Omer Lee Wauhob and they had a son Evan Lee. The next 10 years were spent on his farm northwest of Fargo, then they moved into Fargo.
Annalee worked 15 years as a collector of utilities for O.G. & E and O.N.G. as well as town clerk and later town clerk and Treasurer, retiring in 1990.
She was a member of Fargo United Methodist Church, past member of the Sunshine Club and the Liberty Extension Club . She enjoyed fun with her friends in the Red Hat Group and Quilters that met at the church.
She made many new friends after moving to Oklahoma City 10 years ago to be
near her daughter.
She is survived by her loving family daughter Judy Elliott
and husband Gary, son Evan Wauhob and wife Rae. Grandsons Galen Elliott & wife
Diana, Brennan Elliott & wife Kellye, Shane Wauhob & wife Shelia, Granddaughters
Carlea (Wauhob)Cruz husband Ronnie, and Caree Wauhob.
Great Grandchildren Alec,Skylar, Wauhob, Kaylee Wauhob, Aaliyah, Serenity & Jaci Cruz, Adison, Hannah, Clayton Elliott, Blakely Elliott and fiance Zak Hensley, Olivia (Elliott) Friend and husband Brady.Two great-great grandchildren Carter and Remington Wauhob.
A celebration of Annalees life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Billings Funeral Home Chapel in Woodward, Oklahoma with Reverend Jeff Ralston officiating. Burial will follow in the Fargo Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fargo United Methodist Church with the funeral home accepting the contributions
