Terry Lynn Schneider, 76 year old resident of Arnett, Oklahoma, passed from this life February 7, 2021. He was born April 13, 1944 at the hospital in Shattuck Oklahoma and was the second child of Raymond J. Schneider and Lucille Wilma Cully Schneider. At that time the family was residing on the farm near Fargo Oklahoma. After his first birthday year they purchased and moved to the “Vincent” place outside Arnett Oklahoma. He was baptized at the Arnett Church of Christ on December 23, 1956 and graduated from Arnett high school in 1962. He attended Panhandle A&M University in Goodwell, Oklahoma for one year, later attending Oklahoma State University School of Technical Training in Okmulgee, Oklahoma graduating with an associates degree in diesel mechanics.
He worked as a mechanic at the Uranium mines outside Grants, New Mexico for two years before returning to the family farm in Arnett. He spent the rest of his life running the family farm. He also devoted several years to caring first for his father, then later for his mother during the final years of their lives. He was faithful and active with the Church of Christ all of his life, first in Arnett, in Gage until they closed and then in Shattuck. He was especially supportive of the Spanish speaking ministry.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and by his nephew Zane Kraig Schneider.
He is survived by his brother Dennis and wife Gladys, nephew Clay and wife Andrea, and their sons James and David. There are also numerous cousins throughout Ellis and Woodward county, and beyond.
