September 1, 1956 ~ July 28, 2019

Jeffrey B. Allen, 62 year old Fargo resident, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Fargo Nazarene Church with Reverend Jerry Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Fargo Cemetery.

Jeffrey Brent Allen was born on September 1, 1956 in Amarillo, Texas to Theodore Lawrence and Joyce Marie (Gunter) Allen. Jeffrey grew up in Amarillo, Texas and attended and graduated from Caprock High School. He attended Amarillo College and the Austin School of Massage Therapy.

He was united in marriage to Sue Harrison on September 18, 1987 in Amarillo, Texas. They made their first home in Amarillo before moving to Fargo in 2011. Jeffrey worked as a Licensed Massage Therapist and also in the business office in health care.

He was a member of the Fargo Nazarene Church and the Elks Lodge. Jeffrey was a self-taught handy man who loved playing the guitar, writing poetry, fishing, and camping. Most of all he loved being with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Sue Allen of the home; two sons: Shane Cannon and wife Gail of Childress, Texas, Jeramy Cannon of Fargo; one daughter, Tracy Jones and husband Jay of Lewisville, Texas; seven grandchildren: Destiny Cannon, Bethany Cannon, Olivia Rodriguez, Connor McClain, Jessica Lanie, Alexis Cannon, Luke Jones; two great-grandchildren, Liam Motley and Abel Rodriguez; brothers and sisters: Alecia and husband Edward Cuellar of Rowlette, Texas, Randall Pendleton of Amarillo, Texas, Brad Allen and wife Carla of Amarillo, Texas, Larry Allen of Amarillo, Texas, Joyce and Pat Johnson of Plainview, Texas, Jerry Harrison and wife Linda of Fargo; other relatives and friends.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce and Theodore Allen, one brother Greg Allen of Amarillo, Texas and one daughter Tara Lance of Vernon, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fargo Nazarene Church with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
