Robert Wayne Adams, 61 year old Fort Supply resident, passed away January 4, 2018 in Woodward, Oklahoma. Memorial services will be held at the Fort Supply United Methodist Church on January 26, 2018 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the Fargo Cemetery.
Robert Wayne Adams was born March 26, 1956 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to the proud parents of John Henry Adams and Mae (Manor) (Adams) McKenna. Robert grew up in the Fargo area and attended Fargo Public School system where he graduated. He then attended and graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Robert enjoyed going fishing, casino’s, watching movies, reading books and spending quality time with his friends. What gave Robert the most enjoyment in his life was spending time with his family and his pets.
Robert was a member of the Fort Supply United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his two brothers, John Bradley Adams and Thomas McKenna; one brother- in- law: Joe Little Charley; one sister- in- law: Resa Adams; eleven nephews and nieces; other relatives and special friends Bob and Jean Holloway.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Adams and Mae (Manor) (Adams) McKenna; step-father: Milton McKenna; maternal grandmother: Mary Mathis; paternal grandparents: John Robert and Sarah Adams; two sisters: Jean Little Charley and Shirley Ware; one brother-in-law: Virgil Ware; one brother: James Adams; one sister-in-law: Shirley Adams.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Supply Fire Department with the Billings Funeral Home, 1621 Downs Avenue, Woodward, Oklahoma 73801 accepting the contributions.
