FUNERAL SERVICES CONDUCTED FOR MRS. THOMAS
    Mother of Mrs. Henderson Died Friday At Arnett

 Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Thomas were conducted Saturday at the Arnett Methodist Church with the Rev. Walter Huber of Higgins officiating. The body was laid to rest in the DeBolt Cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas was born Margaret Jane Daniels, July 3, 1866 in Adair County, Missouri and departed this life November 28, 1946.

She was united in marriage to David Lawson Thomas November 4, 1883. To this union were born ten children, five boys and five girls. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters, Laura Ethel and Amy Cleo.

She joined the Christian Church at an early age, later becoming a member of the Nazarene Church to which she remained faithful throughout her life.

In July, 1906, the family moved to Ellis County, Oklahoma, where she resided most of the time since then.

She was a kind and loving wife and mother, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. She has been a patient sufferer of Arthritis for many years. Even during her last illness, she remained kind and patient which was so characteristic of her relation to others throughout her life.

She leaves to mourn her passing, Mrs. George Henderson of Higgins, Albert J. and Oscar Everett of Laplata, Missouri; William Wheeler of Yellville, Arkansas; Orville Clarence of Guymon, Oklahoma; Ernest Ray of Las Angeles, California; Mrs. Henry Henisehn of Taft, California; and Mrs. M.O. Riling of Merced, California.
