Milton Beryl Suthers, 74-year-old resident of Arnett, OK, passed from this life on October 18, 2016 in Oklahoma City. Milton was born February 19, 1942 to Bud and Fae (Shields) Suthers in Shattuck, OK. He grew up in Arnett where he attended Arnett public schools. After graduating high school Milton attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK and then Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology in 1967.

Milton and Darlene Suthers was blessed with three boys. Milton worked as a district manager for the National Wildlife Refuge Systems in overseeing seven states. He has lived in Butler, OK, Maxwell, NM, Alamosa, CO, Denver, CO, Umbarger, TX, Monte Vista, CO, and Phillipsburg, KS. After retiring Milton moved back to Arnett to help care for his mother and ranch. Milton found a great companion and special friend Biddy Sipe and they enjoyed many wonderful years together.

Milton was a member of the United Methodist church and regularly attended the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Shattuck, OK. He had many special interests and hobbies which included dancing, hunting and golfing. Milton was also known for being an avid OSU fan. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Milton is preceded in death by his parents Bud and Fae Suthers and one brother Mac Suthers. He is survived by his very special friend Biddy Sipe of Shattuck, OK; three sons Guy Suthers and wife Jesse of Monte Vista, CO, Ted Suthers and wife Jackie of Battle Mountain, NV, and Justin Suthers and wife Vee Ann of Mosca, CO; two brothers Buddy Suthers of Sayre, OK and Billy Suthers of Arnett, OK; sister Sherilyn Shill of Wellton, AZ; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
