Mattie Lou (Carriker) Rupprecht, 74 year old from Norman, OK passed from this life at the Norman Regional Hospital on August 8, 2016 with her family by her bedside. Mattie was born on January 28, 1942 in Holdenville, OK to Ben and Rosella (McKnight) Carriker.
Mattie married Charles on October 19, 1958 in Okmulgee, OK. The couple were blessed with two boys, Richard and Randy. Mattie was a member and attended the Northeast Baptist Church. She loved to remodel and decorate houses. She was a member of the JC Janes’s, Norman Board of Realtors and the Gold Wing Road Riders.
Mattie was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Rosella Carriker, husband Charles Rupprecht, father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Leta May Rupprecht, brother-in-law Walter Rupprecht.
She is survived by sons, Richard Rupprecht and wife Shelia of Norman, OK and Randy Rupprecht of Norman, OK; brothers, Ben Carriker, Fred Carriker, and Ted Carriker all of Dallas, TX; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, other family and many, many friends.
