Shannon Heith Pierce, 40 year old Mooreland resident, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in Jay, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Debolt Cemetery in Arnett, Oklahoma with Reverend Micah Welcher officiating.
Shannon Heith Pierce was born on March 4, 1982 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Troy Don Pierce and Jonna Sue (Martin) Hensley. Shannon was lovingly known to his family and most friends as Heith. He attended school at Arnett and Mooreland and later obtained his G.E.D.
Heith worked in housing construction, as an auto mechanic, but worked mostly in the oilfield. He was a talented artist and could draw just about anything. Heith had a big heart and was always willing to help those in need.
He is survived by his mother, Jonna Hensley and husband Chris of Mooreland; father, Troy Pierce of Moore; two daughters, Sky Eckenrode and Savannah Pierce; sisters: Shanell Hensley of Mooreland, Kensey Hudson of Claremore, Rae Mumford of Moore, and Beth Brinkley of Claremore; one brother, Seth Pierce of Rockwall, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Heith was preceded in death by an infant brother, Troy James Pierce; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Donnetia Martin; paternal grandmother, Jackie Claycomb; and uncle, Jimmy Pierce.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Mental Health research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
