Quinten Howard Beagle, son of John Martin Beagle and Erma Bradley Beagle, was born February 15, 1921 at the family farm southeast of Arnett, OK and passed from this life on July 16, 2017 at the same farm at the young age of ninety-six.
Quinten attended the Eddie Country School through the eighth grade. Then in the late 60’s he received his GED. On March 2, 1943 Quinten left the farm and joined the *United States Army serving in France and Germany during WWII being honorable discharged on March 6, 1946. He was decorated with the Eame Theater Ribbon, World War II Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and American Theater Ribbon.
On April 9, 1947 Quinten was united in marriage to Geraldine “Gerri” Stimson in Vici, OK. The couple made their home in the Eddie community. Three daughters were born to this union, Quineta Geraldine, Nyla Berylene, and Daryn Yuna. The family owned and operated their own dairy farm for forty years, he was also a rancher who worked hard at everything he did. A Christ foundation was provided for the family. He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church. Quinten supported the Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association and National Rifleman Association. Quinten was a loving father, grandpa, great grand-parent, and a caring friend and neighbor.
Mr. Beagle was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Beagle, loving wife, Gerri Beagle, sister, Demirita Pletcher, brothers, Chester and Joe Beagle. He is survived by his daughters, Quineta Wylie and husband Allan of Edmond, OK, Berylene Steed and husband Raliegh of Rhome, TX, and Daryn Noyes and husband Paul of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Bob Beagle of Perryton, TX; grandchildren, Trevor Wylie and wife Lori of Leavenworth, WA, Allan Wylie and wife Lauren of Edmond, OK, Cassandra Robin and husband Sam of Fort Worth, TX , and Hud Steed and wife Macie of Houston, TX; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews other family and a host of friends.
