Eva Marie (Bowman) Seely, 79-year-old resident of Plainview, TX, passed from this life on January 23, 2017 in Lubbock, TX. Eva was born February 4th, 1937 to William Roy and Eva Annis (Shaw) Bowman in Vici, OK. She attended Vici School until tenth grade and then attended Arnett School graduating with the class of 1955. She moved to Plainview and went to work for the ASC office. She had a long and outstanding career and retired after 45 years. In August 1960 she married Leon Seely in Plainview, TX.
Two daughters, Deborah and Karla were brought into this union. She was a member of the Credit Union Board in Plainview. Eva enjoyed spending time traveling with the bowling team, fishing, and camping. She also enjoyed sewing, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Eva is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Faulk and husband Jerry; parents William and Annis Bowman; sisters Hazel McAlary, Francis Valescu, Dorene Bowman; brothers Wilmer, Glenn, Vernon, Orlin & Gerald Bowman. She is survived by her loving care giver Leon Seely of Plainview, TX; her daughter Karla Johnson of Little Elm, TX; sisters Claretta Shaw of Dumas, TX, Verla Watts of Vici, OK; brother Mervin Bowman of Vici, OK; sister-in-law Travis Bowman of Harmon, OK; 4 grandchildren Devin & Ben Odom, Kimberly Ratliff, Shawnda Williams; 12 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandkids and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
