Howard William “Bill” Harper, resident of Camargo, OK, passed from this life on April 4, 2021 in the Great Plains Regional Hospital in Elk City, OK. Bill was born on September 12, 1948 in Mooreland, OK to Howard and Elsie Ellen (Beasley) Harper. Bill lived in Vici, OK during his youth, and attended Vici Public Schools, graduating in 1966. After graduating, Bill drafted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany as part of the Battery A, 2nd Battalion, and the 83rd Artillery. Bill was honorably discharged on January 29, 1969 having attained the rank of Private First Class- he then returned to Vici. After some time, Bill moved to Camargo, where Bill was blessed with three children in his life, sons Darrin Bailey and Jason Wade, and a daughter Tivie Nicole. Following this, Bill moved to Thomas, OK. On January 7, 1993, Bill was married to Marjorie Coleen Adams at Watonga, OK. Following marriage, Bill moved to Weatherford, OK, and finally settled back in Camargo where he resided until his passing.

Bill was an oilfield worker for a time, but he would go on to work for Cummins GMC at Weatherford for twenty plus years. When he wasn’t working, Bill enjoyed fishing, watching western movies, and going to the casino. Bill was passionate about his family and loved to spend time with his kids and grandkids.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Elsie Harper, wife Marjorie Coleen Adams Harper, brother Leroy Harper, sister Joan Bryant, and granddaughter Jessika Paulsen-Majors.

Bill is survived by his son Darrin Bailey Paulsen and wife Stephanie of Mooreland, OK; son Jason Wade Paulsen and wife Melanie of Leedey, OK; daughter Tivie Nicole Troupe and husband John of Oklahoma City, OK; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends and loved ones.
