Carolyn Sue (Salisbury) Zuelsdorf, 55 year old Woodward resident died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

Susie was born on August 10, 1958 in Woodward, OK; the daughter of John and Dixie Salisbury. Susie was raised in Vici, OK, attended Vici Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1976. Susie continued her education at High Plains Technology Center. Susie was united in marriage to Daryl Zuelsdorf on August 9, 2007 in Woodward, OK. Susie was blessed with one son, Cody McDowell and one step-son, Eric Zuelsdorf. The couple made their home in Woodward.

Susie worked many years beside her mother Dixie at the Vici Restaurant. She owned her own business, worked with stained glass art and painted crafts. She enjoyed being a housewife, fishing and golf. She grew up attending the United Methodist Church of Vici. In May of 2013 at the age of 54 Susie received Jesus and was baptized.

Susie was preceded in death by her brother Steven Wayne Salisbury. She is survived by her husband Daryl Zuelsdorf of Woodward, OK; son Cody McDowell and Lindsay McNeill of Tulsa, OK; parents John and Dixie Salisbury of Vici, OK; sisters, Rhonda Haynie and husband Allan of Odessa, TX, Donna Mitchell of Weatherford, OK, Deena Outhier and husband Milburn of Weatherford, OK, and Janice Parker and husband Chuck of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Charlie Salisbury and wife Jacque of Beaver, OK; step-son, Eric Zuelsdorf of Council Bluff, IA; four grandchildren, Kiana, Kaiden, Kendra and Dustin; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.

Susie’s quick-wit and fun loving manner paralleled her courage and determination. She fought a good fight to the end. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Integris Hospital for the tender loving care they provided Susie during her illness.

Friday April 25th
Susie Salisbury Zuelsdorf -- 2:00 p.m.
Services will be at the Vici High School Auditorium, Vici, OK with interment following in Sunnyside Cemetery, Vici, OK. Visitation: Wednesday ~ 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
