The funeral for Iva Pearl Wylie, 85, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shaw Funeral Home chapel, Vici. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, east of Vici.
She was born Jan. 24, 1923, in Arnett to Luther Alfred and Stella Mae Yeatman and died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008. She attended school to the 11th grade. She married Vessie Manford Baldwin July 26, 1940, in Fairview. She later married Leon Wylie Sept. 26, 1981, in Enid. She lived in several communities in Oklahoma and Colorado, working as a construction foreman and heavy equipment operator at the Woodward Iodine Plant. She was a member of Light Thru the Gospel Church.
Surviving are her children, Lois Jean Moad of Canton and Louise Mae Caurrier, Lillian Peal Ake and Leon Manford Baldwin, all of Seiling; three brothers, Luther Yeatman of Enid, Elmer Yeatman of Oklahoma City and Loyd Yeatman of Clarkridge, Ark.; two sisters, Hazel McCord of Oklahoma City and Violet Freeman of Noble; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, Vessie and Leon, one son, one brother, two sisters and one grandson. Condolences may be made online at shawfuneralhome.net.
