Cathy Lynn (Semon) Wells 65 year old Woodward, OK Resident passed December 12, 2020 in Edmond, OK. She was born on March 15, 1955 at Bloomington, IN to Charles Lee Semon Sr. and Marilyn Rose (Turpin) Semon. She grew up in Madison, IN and attended grade school at Pope John Elementary and graduated with the Class of 1973 from Shawe Memorial High School. After high school she attended House of James Beauty College.
On August 10, 2005, Cathy married Robert “Bob” Dewey Wells in Madison, Indiana. They made their home in Woodward, OK. Cathy was a homemaker and caregiver. She was baptized in 1955 and a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church. She attended the Prince of Peace Parish. Cathy was also a member of the American Legion, VFW, and St. Peter’s Catholic church. She loved to help with the girl scouts. Cathy loved journaling, sewing, gardening, travel and site seeing, but most of all she loved being a member of the church. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Sr. and Marilyn Semon, Tamra Lea Estes, nieces Danielle Semon and Destiny Semon.
She is survived by her husband Bob Wells of the home; two daughters Tabitha Lynn Johnson (Trey) of Woodward, OK and Anastasia Rose Turner (Billy Stearns) of Vevay, IN; five sisters Vickie Davis of Madison, IN, Lori Brinson of Madison, IN, Kelly Bastin of Bloomington, IN, Susan Chandler of Madison, IN, Kari Smith of Madison, IN; three brothers Daniel Semon Sr. of Adairsville, GA, Charles Semon Jr. of Madison, IN, and Jacob Semon of Madison, IN; one aunt Louella Fultz; nine nephews Daniel Davis Jr., David Semon, Daniel Semon Jr., Taylor Bastin, Roy Bell Jr. Charles Semon III, Franklin Clark Jr, and Micheal Clark; nine nieces Lee Ann Davis, Stephanie McDuffy, Shannon Hatfield, Amanda Brinson, Kayla Grout, Kimberly Bell, Laura Semon, Jalene Semon, and Kristin Semon; extended family and a host of friends.
