Steven Wayne Salisbury passed from this life on March 16, 2014 as the result of a tragic auto accident. He was 57 at the time of his death. Steve was one of seven children born to John and Dixie (Miller) Salisbury. He arrived into their family on January 10, 1957 at Woodward, Oklahoma.

All of Steve’s elementary and high school years were spent in the Vici Public Schools. He was a graduate of the Class of 1975. On August 16, 1978 Steve was united in marriage to Dani Guy at Woodward, Oklahoma. They welcomed the birth of their wonderful two daughters; Darci Jo and Melissa Rae.

Steve moved to Arnett, Oklahoma from 1978 to 2006 and then returned to Vici. He worked for the City of Arnett while there and also worked for a time in the oilfield. He currently was employed as a mechanic for Ken’s Tractor Service. Steve was an avid golf player but also enjoyed watching basketball and playing cards. His favorite pastime was just spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his two daughters, Darci Lingle of Taloga, Oklahoma and Melissa Salisbury of Arnett, Oklahoma; parents, John and Dixie Salisbury of Vici, Oklahoma; sisters, Rhonda Haynie and husband Allan of Odessa, Texas, Susie Zuelsdorf and husband Daryl of Woodward, Oklahoma, Donna Mitchell of Weatherford, Oklahoma Deena Outhier and husband Milburn of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Janice Parker and husband Chuck of Charlotte, North Carolina and his brother, Charlie Salisbury and wife Jacque of Beaver, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kyndlyn, Kaylor, Aubry and Boden, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a lifetime of friends. He will be greatly missed by all.

Wednesday March 19th
Steven Wayne Salisbury -- 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held in the Gerald Shaw Auditorium, Vici High School, Vici, Oklahoma with burial following in Sunnyside Cemetery.

VISITATION:
Monday ~ 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday ~ 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday ~ At the school
