Nayeli Alejandra Rivas, 16 year Vici High School student, passed from this life at her home on August 21, 2014. Nayeli was born to Daniel and Claudia Aracely Munoz Rivas on March 23, 1998 in Chihuahua Mexico.
Nayeli’s family lived in Chihuahua Mexico; and Pampa, TX; before moving to Vici, OK when Nayeli was in the 5th grade where her family still resides today. Nayeli really enjoyed her family and all the friends she had made at school and through her other activities. Nayeli could be seen dancing just about everywhere she went, whether at home or in public. She loved to dance. Nayeli loved school and was very active in band and choir. She wanted to be a doctor and was looking forward to the schooling involved for that.
Nayeli was an active member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Woodward, OK. She had begun her first committal and confirmation. She really enjoyed going to church on Wednesdays with the youth.
Those preceding Nayeli in death are her Grandfather Ramon Rivas and her brother Daniel Rivas Jr.
