Wanda was born September 30, 1944 to Clarence and Beulah Lynes in Woodward. She graduated from Camargo High School in 1962.
Wanda married Gary Riseley on May 27, 1960 in Woodward. They enjoyed a strong and loving marriage.
They lived in Camargo before moving to Dumas in 1966. While living in Dumas she became a member of the Dumas church of the Nazarene and worked for American National Insurance. They then moved to Vici to enjoy their retirement years.
She was a faithful follower of Jesus. This was evident in her caring actions to family and friends. Doing for others, was a gift to her. Wanda also dearly loved her children and grandchildren. Each one had a very precious part of her heart and she enjoyed showering them with that love.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Riseley in 2014; brothers, Wayne Lynes and Don Lynes; sister, Arveda Drake.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Gary of the home; daughter, Gayla Rigdon and husband C.D. Rigdon of Pampa, TX; grandchildren, Gary Rigdon and wife Tina, Zachariah Pate and wife Jesse of Brownfield, TX, Braye Riseley of Weatherford, OK ; 8 grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Lauretta Riseley of Weatherford, OK; brother, Charles Lynes and wife Pearl of Vici; sister, Wilma Day of Vici; and numerous nieces and nephews as well as friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to MDA, the closet, 5601 NW 72ND, suite 1224, Oklahoma City, Ok 73132.
